looking great. just a quick update. teichomes still clear and cloudy. not much amber at all so just letting her mature. buds getting fat

buds getting nice and plump :)

Schwazz #2
we did it - full schwazz - or at least mostly full schwazz. it took about 1.5 hrs to get most of the remaining fan leaves off the plant. now it’s time to let the buds fill out and get fattt. pics before and after

it’s a jungle in here
came back home to a very thirsty plant after 4 days away. looking great and still growing fast. she’s recovered nicely from the 1/2 schwazz i did a week ago. i’m planning on doing a full schwazz in another week or so to make sure that all of the bud sites get as much light penetration as possible. watered 1/2 gallon with cal mag and FF big bloom organic.
VPD is 1.51 kPa — too dry for flower (target 1.2–1.5).
Raise humidity or lower temps. Sustained high VPD causes nutrient burn-like symptoms and stunted growth.

growing fast. i think these buds are gonna be huge in the end. 1/2 gal water only
Average humidity 56.6% (day 64.1%, night 49%) is above the flower target of 40–50%.
Drop average RH below 50% in flower. Sustained high humidity is the leading cause of bud rot.

1/2 Schwazz
did a semi-schwazz to prune most of the big fan leaves that were shading bud sites. took off probably 50-60 leaves. pics are before and after. watered with 1/2 gallon w FF big bud organic fertilizer. VPD getting high because the lights are hot and my apartment is dry from the AC. it’s a balancing act rn 🤞
Average humidity 51.4% (day 62.7%, night 40.1%) is above the flower target of 40–50%.
Drop average RH below 50% in flower. Sustained high humidity is the leading cause of bud rot.

top-dressed today with build-a-soil “build a bloom” and some seabird guano as well. solidly in pre flower now. looking great. pruning a few bigger fan leaves every day that are shading smaller nodes. i’m deciding on whether to do a schwazz (complete fan leaf strip) or just keep tucking and pruning. i might get more aggressive with pruning soon to make sure all the lower nodes turn into fat colas. must avoid larf at all costs

Average humidity 60.8% (day 71%, night 50.5%) is above the flower target of 40–50%.
Drop average RH below 50% in flower. Sustained high humidity is the leading cause of bud rot.
VPD is 1 kPa — too humid for flower (target 1.2–1.5).
Lower humidity or raise temps slightly. High humidity in flower invites bud rot.

watered 1/2 gallon with grow big and also some cal-mag to prep for flower. looking good and growing fast

SCROG
it’s been a few days since i’ve posted and big things are happening. scrog net installed 3 days ago and left to adjust. just now pruned about 20 fan leaves that were blocking older nodes. adjusted all of the nodes to get more light. also set the light timer for 20/4 schedule and raised the dli to ~45. no water today but will definitely give her a good soaking tomorrow.
DLI of 44.3 mol/m²/d is above the veg ideal of 20–40.
High DLI is fine if leaves look healthy, but watch for bleaching/foxtailing on top colas. Consider dimming 10–15% if you see signs of light stress.
🔬 Check Plant Health
missed a couple days of updates but everything’s been fine. watered a half gallon today. tucked some more branches. she’s looking good.
🔬 Check Plant Health
pinned down more branches and watered 1/2 gal with grow big
🔬 Check Plant Health
top node fell off :( no actions except tucking some fan leaves to make room for the nodes
🔬 Check Plant Health
oops :(
i was adjusting the main top stake to re-pin it and pushed it a bit to hard, which snapped the main top at the second to last node. it was hanging on a thread of plant fibers so i propped it up with the stake and just let it be. she’ll need a miracle to heal and keep the top intact, otherwise i may lose the top in this one :( we’ll see
🔬 Check Plant Health
watered 1/2 gal with grow big.
🔬 Check Plant Health
pinned more branches down and removed a couple upper fan leaves that were blocking nodes. no additional water today.
🔬 Check Plant Health
continuing to adjust the stake, it's really growing well :)
🔬 Check Plant Health
re-pinned the top again and bottom watered 1/2 gallon. raised dli to 30
🔬 Check Plant Health
re-staked the top down twice today (again) and raised dli to 25 - still on 24/0 light cycle. no additional water today
🔬 Check Plant Health
adjusted the top stake twice and watered 1/2 gal on top w grow big (fox farm)
🔬 Check Plant Health
continuing to keep the main top pinned. looking good. raised DLI to 20
🔬 Check Plant Health
adjusted the main top stake, it had grown quite a bit since yesterday and was pointing straight up. probably going to have to do this 1-2 times daily until the net comes i
🔬 Check Plant Health
lst looking good
she’s doing great after pinning down her main top yesterday. 1/2 gallon bottom water only today
🔬 Check Plant Health
Begin LST!
edit: got home and decided it was time to start low stress training. pinned down the main top with a single stake. the goal is to try and keep the top pointed down or sideways so that the lower branches get more light and become equal with the main. will have to adjust daily. pics are before/after

no actions today
🔬 Check Plant Health
bottom water 1/2 gallon - the tray was bone dry but soil is still looking moist on top. looking great :)
🔬 Check Plant Health
no actions today, just letting her grow 🌿💪
🔬 Check Plant Health
no actions today. looking good :)

going strong!
looking good. watered too and bottom today 1/2 gal total

first true leaves!
first true leaves coming in. i think i’ll increase the DLI soon since the stem is getting elongated and i want her to grow wide. no water or any other actions today

VPD is 0.95 kPa — too dry for clone / propagation (target 0.4–0.8).
Raise humidity or lower temps. Sustained high VPD causes nutrient burn-like symptoms and stunted growth.
Average humidity 63.5% (day 72.4%, night 54.6%) is below the clone / propagation target of 65–80%.
Raise humidity to 65%+ for rooting. A propagation dome works well.
🔬 Check Plant Health
leaf curling is kind of concerning, but otherwise looking good. it’s been hot in the apt so not able to regulate vpd as precisely as i would like. all good, she will survive 💚
🔬 Check Plant Health
no actions today. just letting her grow :)
🔬 Check Plant Health
watered 1/2 gallon total. about 2 cups on top and the rest in the bottom tray
🔬 Check Plant Health
Second set of leaves coming in nicely! no new actions, just letting her grow :)
🔬 Check Plant Health
Took off the humidity dome today and put in humidifier with maximum VPD threshold set to 0.8
🔬 Check Plant Health
no actions today. grow, baby, grow
going well
raised DLI to 12 (20-4 schedule)
