What's Different About Growing in Colorado?

Near national average. Your electricity cost is a baseline driver — higher than average states like California and New York mean a few hundred dollars more per year in power costs. Offsetting factors: Colorado's dispensary prices (averaging $180/oz) determine how fast your grow pays for itself.

Amendment 64 (Colorado Marijuana Legalization) allows up to 6 plants per household, which sets an upper limit on how much you can legally grow. Most home growers run fewer plants but bigger — 4 plants in a SCROG yields more than 8 plants crowded together.
